But, but other countries pay the tariffs.

Hello MAGA Faithful,

Why do tariffs need to be eaten by Wal-Mart when they are paid by other countries?

That is what Dear Leader promised in all of his speeches and interviews.

But now Dear Leader says Wal-Mart has to "EAT THE TARIFFS", the tariffs that other countries are paying for according to Dear Leader

Dear Leader says it right in his Truth posting.

He is admitting that tariffs are not paid by other countries.

Do you understand now that Dear Leader knows who pays for tariffs but has been lying to you the whole time?

Wal-Mart did make billions($12 Billion in 2023) but it's net profit was 2% of Sales($12B/$464B=2%).

Cost of Sales(which is how much the product they sell costs them) is 75% of Revenue. If you add on 30% tariffs, the Cost of Sales goes to 98% of Revenue(75%+(75% x 30%) = 98%) or in billions($464B+($464Bx30%)= $603B)($603B/$611B=98%). Wal-Mart will go bankrupt if they don't pass along the tariffs.

How is Wal-Mart going to absorb 30% more costs without it killing the bottom line. It can't.

China can weather any storm. They are a communist country. They don't care if their people starve. We are only 15% of their exports.

But of course you will still believe everything Dear Leader says, won't you.

86'd

I worked in the restaurant business for quite some time and when they used the terms 86'd it was for any menu item that we ran out of. Spinach Salad is 86'd meant we were out of Spinach Salad so don't sell any more. I was told then that 86 is from the mobster Vegas days where they took their hapless victims 80 miles outside of town and buried them 6 feet under ground, thusly they were 86'd. Who knows if that is correct or not but that is what I was told.
