Godfathers Fence Project Almost Complete!

The fence (4 panels) was leveled by a fallen tree.  The panels mostly survived, but the posts (opposite side) had to be replaced.

Bert Parks is rolling over in his grave right about now..

.. I know the teleprompter said different and you are on live TV but you just have to stop and get clarification. And then to not spell the country's names right in your twitter apology. Come on man!!

(I know Bert Parks did the Miss America pageant and not Miss Universe but hey I'm taking artistic license here)

Buy a Gun vs Get an Abortion

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/a-proposed-bill-in-missouri-would-make-buying-a-gun-as-difficult-as-getting-an-abortion/ar-AAg0LmY?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=iehp

Pretty funny law proposed in Missouri. It will make the Republican's heads spin for sure.

Republican response "But, but, but...you can't do that to gun owners, only pregnant women deserve that sort of treatment."

No Republican war on women here, please move along.

Christmas is right around the corner....

Of course at $10.69 it seems a little pricey. I could do the same with an empty paper bag with the below writing on it for much cheaper.

Nova Scotia Tree Lighting in Boston

Family learned of this tradition on an NE Coast cruise out of Boston: Excerpt from Kings County News Article

"We are honored to be able to donate our tree as a gift for the people of Boston on behalf of all Nova Scotians," said Andrea MacEachern. "We can't believe our tree will take centre stage at this special celebration." The gift of a tree is a thank you to the people of Boston for the support and aid Boston provided after the Halifax Explosion on Dec. 6, 1917. "We have a strong relationship with Boston, one that we respect and want to foster," said Premier Stephen McNeil in a news release today. "We will never forget the kindness Bostonians showed us in a time of need and that's why we are happy to continue this tradition."
