Ted Kennedy takes a shot to the groin...

You would think that Massachusetts who had elected Kennedy for so many years would have wanted to see one of his lifelong goals fulfilled after his death. By the election of Scott Brown they might have dealt health care reform a fatal blow.

Maybe they didn't care for Ted and his policies after all and were just happy to have a powerful voice in the Senate to get their state more federal dollars and now that he has passed they can vote for whatever is the popular flavor of the day.

I would like to see health care reform go through, but at the end of the day it probably won't affect me either way. I've worked all my life and every employer I've been with had some sort of health plan that I was on and I would think that would continue into the future. My guess is that without the health care reform the premiums will continue to rise and eat evermore into my dwindling paycheck, my portion of the health care insurance premium went up by 25% this year, but at least my deductible went down on the high deductible plan I'm on.

I'd like to see it pass so that everyone can be covered like I am so that they don't have to worry about a huge health care bill putting them in the poorhouse or into bankruptcy.
