Saturday March 31 at 8:30 PM is Earth Hour. During Earth Hour you are requested to turn off all non essential lights. I was in Vegas last year when this happened. I had no idea it was happening but I overheard some people talking about it so I went outside and sure enough at the appointed hour the lights on the Vegas strip went dark. Now all the street lights and essential safety lights were still on but to see the strip without lights was quite the sight.
