Great article about Elizabeth Warren's taking on the "Too Big to Fail" banks. We need more politicians like Ms. Warren. The banks need to help the economy not put it at risk. Banking should be about moving money from those that save to those that need loans. They should make a profit but not the huge profits they currently make with the strange games they play with finances and the leverage. It's time to declare that these large banks are a national security risk and have them separate banking from their other activities that put them at risk of collapsing our economy. They can play all the games they want outside the banking sector and if they lose at the games they are playing then those business goes bankrupt without taking down the banking sector with it.

How's that only teaching abstinence working out for you. Maybe if you taught sex ed they would know the value of condoms in stopping the spread of sexual diseases. Texans get you head out of your asses, kids in high school have raging hormones and need guidance on how to protect themselves. By teaching only abstinence you are just asking for an outbreak of this kind.

Lining up two by two....

It has been raining pretty much non-stop for days now in Denver. I haven't been able to fertilize the lawn yet due to too many irons in the fire previously and the Consigliere, who is my lawn care professional, has been of no help, in his defense I never asked him too but hey he's my lawn care professional he should just know. I got time on Sunday finally and filled up the spreader but before I could get it applied it started raining again so my fertilizer has sat in the spreader all week waiting for a break but none has come. Might be time to not worry about the lawn anymore and instead focus on building an Ark.

 

Duck Dynasty "The Musical" Closes in Vegas

What exactly were they smoking in the meeting room when they thought this would be a good idea? First it's Vegas, aka Sin City, and the Duck boys are about as far from the typical patrons of Vegas as you could possibly get. Second, a musical? You do understand who the performers are? Who the choreographers are? In relation to the population as a whole they have a much higher percentage of lesbian/gay/bi-sexual/transgender(LGBT) people in their ranks and even if you are not LGBT and in the business you probably have a friend or co-worker who is. The Duck boys are not well regarded in the LGBT community due to the things that have come out on the program and in their appearances. Do you think that maybe the performers/choreographers might not have been all in on this production? Ya think? And nobody brought this up in the countless meetings they should have had to get this musical going? Dumbasses!!
