Airline Pricing

Just read an interesting article over at The Big Picture:

http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2015/01/the-not-so-friendly-skies/

which talks about   https://skiplagged.com/   and how they can find flights that connect through your intended destination for cheaper than actually just getting  a ticket to your intended destination. Basically you get a ticket to someplace you are not actually going to that connects in the city you are wanting to go to. You don't use the second plane seat as you are already where you want to go. You cannot check luggage of course as your luggage will make its way to the city you aren't actually going to and the airlines frown upon this behavior. Loved the picture of what economy seating will look like. I actually saw a guy do this in Vegas on Fremont Street.

Even funnier is this new seating chart.  http://thecooperreview.com/deltas-new-airplane-seating-chart/
