Very good book on the same subject: Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen Friends Kate and Ken gave me the book after I helped crew the Leadville 100 Trail Race. Caballo Blanco is a regular at that event.
